The Redemptorist priests of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (CSSR) have been serving the Ephrata community since 1914. Following the footsteps of their patron and founder, St. Alphonsus Liguori, the Redeptorists have chosen to "follow the example of Jesus Christ by preaching the Word of God to the poor."
Our pastor is Fr. Patrick McGarrity. Our parochial vicar is Fr. Thomas Loftus. Also in residence is Fr. James Small, Fr. Brendan Greany, and Fr. Gerry Schreiber. All our priests share in the vision of St. Alphonsus. Our priests reside in St. Clement's Mission House, named after St. Clement Hofbauer, the second founder of the congregation who brought the dream of the Redemptorists to America.
